Extend security role

Hi guys,

When we extend a standard security roles, is it possible to rename the role ?

For example there is role : Auditor. then I want to extend it, adding something (duty / privileges) but then I want to change the name "Auditor" into new name.

Hello Lars Volt,

You can duplicate standard security role, and modify the duplicated one. While duplicating, you must specify a new name.

This is on the security configuration page.

Hi Lars Volt,

You cannot rename the role name. Its not possible. If you still rename using F11 it will be reverted back.

You can rename the extension after the dot , But you cannot rename the security role before dot.

For example Auditor.Extension - You can rename that to Auditor.ModelName.
