when record is closed still oob state code field is showing active

When case is closed still oob state code field is showing active for ms crm 2011 on premises. There a javascript we have added for resolve action which is not working some times any views?

Hi partner,

The state code field can’t change because javascript that you add to resove action.

You can create a workflow to change status of cases that statecode field has not changed.

After running the workflow, you can check the statecode change or not?

If not, you can try to use webApi to change status manually.

You might be using custom field for case state. So in that case, you also need to update statecode field as well.
