Delegate-approval workflows

Good day,

Does anyone know why due approvals are not delegating automatically even though I have the configuration set up correctly? I’ve attached a picture so you can see it. For example, for an entry dated 05/02/26, the approval due date has passed, so why hasn’t it been delegated if I configured it to delegate automatically after 1 day?

The approval users have also been correctly configured. In fact, if they delegate the task manually, it works perfectly.

    To delegate approvals automatically, it is not sufficient to only set the “Delegate After” field. You must also create and run a Job Queue Entry to process the delegation.

    Hi 

    Business Central does not automatically monitor overdue approvals on its own. The delegation setting only works if a Job Queue Entry is running the workflow evaluation.

    Thank you, everyone. I already did that, but now it is delegating to the approval admin instead of the person configured as the substitute. Do you know why?
