Multi-Company - how are companies sorted in the select company dropdown?

In Dynamics SL 2011 FP1, the feature to change companies allows you to switch companies, but I have not been able to figure out how these are sorted. Can the sort order be changed Thank you.

    Deb,

    If you are talking about the drop down on the main SL screen, no there is no way to sort how the companies appear. The way they are sorted by default is by most recently opened company.
