Outlook shared Mailbox time limit for 1 month only - office 365 , Exchange

Users of shared mailbox are being an error at the end of one month mail & that error is / Currently displaying all messages newer then 1 month/ Can we increase the limit unto three months for the shared mail box, I have tried with applying th retention policy even then it is not working & showing same.
