185Hi All,
I installed the hotfix KB4011327. After installing of the hotfix, few of the Cubes from the Entity store are missing.
Please find the repro steps below.
Repro tests: (Also described in this blog post : https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/dynamicsaxbi/2016/06/23/authoring-and-distributing-power-bi-reports-with-dynamics-ax7)
1. Applied hotfix "KB4011327"
2. Publish the aggregated measurements from the Entity Store form (https://usnconeboxax1aos.cloud.onebox.dynamics.com/?&cmp=usmf&mi=BIMeasurementDeployManagementEntityStoreMenuItem)
3. Select Warehouse, Production, SalesCube and PurchaseCube and click Refresh
4. Ensure that the BATCH windows service is running
5. Goto Batch Jobs form and filter description by "Deploy", then you will see the jobs for deploying measurements.
6. When the job has ended check they BATCH JOB, Log to validate they are all successfully deployed.
7. Now Install the PowerBI desktop tool (https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/desktop/)
8. Now open the PowerBI desktop tool and add data source from SQL server and access the data from SQL AXDW database.
Validate that SQL views exists for all measure groups
ProductionCube_XXXX
SalesCube_XXXX
WHSWarehouse_XXX
PurchaseCube_XXX
After following these steps I couldn't see the some cubes like "aggregate measurements Warehouse, Production, SalesCube and PurchaseCube".
Could anyone please let me know what could have been the cause of the missing of these cubes? Is it possible that I might have wrongly installed the hotfix? What can be the work around for the same?
