Install axmodel to cloud based environments

Hello,

I have installed / imported an axmodel provided by 3rd party on the devbox. Full build and synch is done successfully.

Now I want it to be installed on user test environments (UAT). 

Should I create a deploy-able package from devbox and upload and apply it via LCS? Is that a correct way to distribute axmodels between environments?

    Hi Johnny,

    The best way is checking in all the changes (models/deployable packages) in Visual Studio online and the let the build create a deployable package. Have also a look at the documentation: docs.microsoft.com/.../apply-deployable-package-system

    A model (source code) can only be used on DEV instances. Other environments requires deployable packages (runtime compiled code)

    Hello Andre,

    Thanks for reply.

    When I installed the axmodel, I can't see anything in the pending changes, but I see new model and it's classes in AOT.

    How can I check-in them to VSTS?

    Go to Source Control Explorer, find folder and add it. Steps are described here docs.microsoft.com/.../version-control-metadata-navigation
