Hi:
I am brand new to sl. We are doing a project where we want to export data from sl into our portfolio reporting solution. We need to understand the structure of the data in SL so we can better help our client figure out what they need to export.
how can i get a trial version of SL? or where can i get documentation on the database structure?
any suggestions are much appreciated.

If you have access to their setup, the built in help files have the data schema. Their SL Var might be willing to give you a copy of the program and get it set up with the demo data.
