Dynamics Connector not updating NAV from CRM

Hi,


We have just installed the Dynamics Connector linking CRM 2011 to NAV 2009 R2.

We have managed to get the records to sync from CRM through to NAV but only on the first instance. If we make a change to an account in CRM, then this change is not made in NAV.

The log file contains 

[Account to NAV Customer Card] has encountered an error while processing key [e7b0a954-e4d5-df11-b7d6-001422728a02]. The record already exists.

Which is correct as it does exist, however it should be updating the information.

Any advice on how to further trouble shoot this issue?

    Hi Craig,

    I never did initial sync from CRM to NAV but the error said that when you trying to update Customer in NAV, you are not providing proper Integration ID. So, when system search this record in table 5151, it cannot find and trying to create new one. But you cannot have two Customers at the same time.

    In this case usually issue with NAV "Integration ID" field wich should be mapped with CRM "Account\ID". This mapping should be done before initial sync, If you just fix it, you should resync accouns.

    In Default maps this already mapped, so you can have different issue.

    Could post you Account mapping from "Exported" tab so we can see what exactly you have?

    Another thing, which can generate this error, Shipping addresses (see at the bottom of Account Map). To check if issue whith address, you can exlude it from map and try to sync again.

    Could you please also post the entire contantes of the exception dialog from the Connector Log?  This can be done using the "Copy" functionality on that dialog.  Thanks!

    Hi,

    Yesterday I've upgraded to V2 and I'm using the new out of the box mappings and has exactly the same issue, a lot of errors on sync of accounts/contacts to NAV, like the one below:

    [Account to NAV Customer Card] has encountered an error while processing key [[CyraCom Internationall, 625c74f1-96e3-e011-923c-001185e8e212]]. The record already exists.

    Any idea?
