Voucher Transactions Column Limits

I have a customer that has 11 account number segments within their account structure (12 in total with main account). When the Voucher Transactions form is run with either of the "Display account number segments in separate columns" options enabled, the software drops one of the dimensions in the account structure.

Does anyone know the column limitations in the Voucher Transactions form [GL > Inquiries] when the either of the "Display account number segments in separate columns" options are enabled?

It seems that there is a limit of 11 columns for account number segments (one reserved for main account) which causes the software to drop any left over number segments.

Thanks!

    Hello Dustin G.,

I once tried using 21 financial dimensions.

The problem was that the additional dimensions were used for posting but that you could not analyze them through the standard reports or forms.

The standard forms and reports are are limited to 10 financial dimensions + main account.

Yet, the Management Reporter or BI tools should be able to analyze the financial dimensions that you cannot directly analyze in AX.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
