Can Azure Services Function use to integrate with D365 For Ops?

Can we develop a serverless function using Azure services function and integrate it to d365? Example, receive the orders from all the 3rd party eCommerce through this Azure services function and then interface it to the D365 sales order for processing purpose.

I assume you mean Azure Functions when you say Azure services functions.

Yes, AX 7 (Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, Enterprise Edition) offers web services that you can call from anywhere you like, which includes Azure Fubnctions.

Hi,

Would you be able to post a sample code or point me towards how this would be done? We're trying to call D365 F&O through an Azure Function but getting a 401 error and not really sure if we're doing something wrong.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

First of all, make sure you correctly register your app in Azure Active Directory and that your code is providing all necessary details (HTTP code 401 means "Unauthorized"). If you need a help with it, please tell us what you have done, because we can't know it.

Also, try testing your code locally before deploying it to Azure.
