Prevent PO Confirmation if Custom Field is Empty

I’ve added a custom string field to PurchTable.

Currently, I’ve marked it as mandatory, so the system throws an error when saving the PO if the field is empty. However, it still allows me to confirm the PO even when the field is blank.

My requirement is that the PO should not be allowed to confirm unless this field is filled. Could someone suggest the right place to add the validation logic to achieve this?

There can be multiple option to acheive this, one could be extend comfirmation button click method and check if field have value and stop confirmation if missing.
Other option could be to explore PurchFormLetter_PurchOrder.validarte() class method to find the right spot to stop processing in case value is missing.
