Creating New Custom Entity Record when Opportunity is Won

Hello

I have added a workflow to my opportunity entity to automatically create a new custom entity record and pull over details from the opportunity.

There are a couple of other field types I am not sure how to correctly put into the newly created record:

Option Sets:- I want to copy the same data in the opportunity to the custom entity (both use the same option set)

Stake Holders:- I have stake holders created on the opportunity but want to also add these to the custom entity - is this possible?

    Hi, thanks I got all that bit working apart from the stake holders but dont think it seems possible to get those into my custom entity.

    Hi Storm,

    You can create a workflow,and on another entity have text fields,on update or create of entity1 ,then update the corresponding entity

    Thanks, I've made my option set global now and it works fine.

    Do you know if you can pull any contact information from 1 entity to another without coding?

    For optionset you will have to create global option set. Then only you will be able to copy it to the custom entity. I believe there could be multiple stakeholders for an opportunity, so you will have to write custom code to do this.
