checking some logic before launching RunBaseBatch class

Hello everyone,

Could oyu pls help me to know what will be the best approach here to implement? I have a from which has got a menuitem button calling some RunBaseBatch class. I need to do the following. When I click on the button I need to go through some table and check whether current record on the form is compatible with some criterions. If yes I need to launch the class. If no I need to interrupt the execution.

RunBase classes have validate() method, but it's called when closing the dialog, therefore it's probably too later for you. Can't you simply put your code to main() method of your RunBase class?
