Good morning to everyones,

I have one unmanaged solution with:

- 1 plugin

- 5 workflow (with some flow conditions into compare Team, Users and other entity)

-10 custom view

- 2 custom button (create with ribbon workbench)

- ecc

I installed this solution in an other enviroment as managed, so I had to update the workflow with the correct entity (I substituted the TeamTest with the TeamProd, UserAtest with UserAprod ecc.).

Now I made some modifies into unmanaged solution's workflow and when I imported this solution with the modifies of workflows didn't update the managed solution because I modified the workflow to change the lookup into default solution (into prod enviroment).

This is a knew behavior for me... but the question is:

Which are the effects of an overwrite when I import a solution instead to selected "maintain"?

if you choose overwrite it will copy all the components in your workflow into the target system and overwrite any existing components. So for you workflows it should overwrite/replace the changes you have made with the copies in the solution you are importing.

if you choose maintain it will keep all existing components and only overwrite new components
