Is there a way to copy a field values from one entity to another?

Like for example I have a record that already contains all required data. Then I run workflow and see that there is another record with the same date but doesn't have all the required values filled in.

I need to copy values from "completed" record to another one. Is there a way I can copy values with CRM workflows?

There are a couple of ways to handles this:

    1. A custom workflow that looks at the field in the entity in question, identifies the error, and then updates the field in your entities will work.

You can create an advanced find to call a list of all entities where:

    Date - Equals - X

Field - Does Not Contain Data

Then select all records in the list and run your custom workflow to update the fields with your desired value.

    2. Create an advanced find like the previous one to get all of your entities in question, add the column you'd like to update and export the list to Excel checking the "Make this data available for re-importing..." box at the bottom of the Export Data to Excel screen.

Then in Excel you can fill all the records using Copy&Paste and import the updates back into your CRM.

There is more risk for error in this method, however, if it's a "Y/N" field of something like that I've found it much quicker than taking the time to create a workflow and advanced find I'll only use once.

    Hi,

You can achieve this using custom workflow activity. In custom workflow activity look for any record with same date but does not have all required field,  and then get completed record details and set required fields from completed record to another record.
