GP 2013 OLE notes migration utility download links are broken

Since I am about to upgrade our GP 2013 system to GP 2016, I need to use the GP 2013 OLE Notes Migration Utility (aka GP 2013 OLE Object Migration Utility).  However, the links I found to download this utility in Customer Source are broken.  Here are the locations where I found broken links:

https://mbs.microsoft.com/customersource/northamerica/GP/downloads/service-packs/MDGP2013_PatchReleases

https://community.dynamics.com/gp/b/dynamicsgp/archive/2016/04/26/microsoft-dynamics-gp-2016-ole-note-migration-utility

Can anyone direct me to a location where I find a working link to download this utility?  The link for the 2015 version works, but I assume that I need the 2013 version of the utility since we're currently running GP 2013.

    Hello,

I tested the following link in my environment and was able to successfully download the 2013 OLE Note Utility, so it doesn't look like the link is broken in all scenarios:

    https://mbs2.microsoft.com/fileexchange/downloadfile.aspx?fileid=80119738-23ea-4231-9238-5ed0c55bf503

If you're having trouble with file exchange you can review the following for some troubleshooting options:

Thanks for the suggestions, Lucas, and for testing the link.  That proves that the link is OK, but that there is something wrong on my end.

I've tried all the ideas in the file exchange issue link (adding to trusted sites, InPrivate browsing, etc.) and also tried using several different browsers on different computers, all with no luck.  I always get "Our apologies...An unexpected error occurred."  The problem occurs with any link that has the "fileid=" in it.

I guess I'll try it from a home computer to get around possible network firewall issues, and if that doesn't work I understand I can open a support case to get the file through FTP or something (at no charge I hope).

    Thanks,

    - Dave

    That's correct Dave.

If you continue to have issues we could send you the file through a file workspace, but those are associated with a support case, which would be considered non-chargeable for an issue like this.

This may be a longshot but there is (was?) a file exchange issue when logged into customersource/partnersource with your AzureAD login. I know it doesn't work for me unless I log in with my Microsoft Account if I intend to download using the file exchange manager.

It could be that is the only issue, or it could be there is something else going on!

    Hi Jen,

Thanks, that worked!  I kept getting a message that said the two different accounts had been linked, but this time I ignored (skipped) that "work" account and used my old "personal" account credentials.  The download worked after that.

    Thanks!

Awesome! I guess I know it's still an issue then! Glad you got what you needed...
