Can somebody point me to the correct direction? I want to use list component in CRM 2011 on premises and Sharepoint 2013 Online. The problem is how I can create a working authentication.

If I use CRM online with sharepoint online there is no problems.

    Hello,

First of all download the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 List Component for Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013 (for multiple browsers) http://www.microsoft.com/en-US/download/details.aspx?id=5283 (CRM2011-SharePointList2013-ENU-amd64.exe)

    Installation Instructions

    1. To start the download, click Download for the list component that you want to install.
    2. To save the file to your computer, click Save, specify a location, and click Save again.

    Important

    • You must be a SharePoint site collection administrator to be able to install the Microsoft Dynamics CRM List component on Microsoft SharePoint Server.
    • (For SharePoint On-Premises only) The Microsoft Dynamics CRM List component is a site collection-level solution. If you want to enable the Microsoft Dynamics CRM List component at the farm level, you must write a script that does the following:
    • Retrieves all SharePoint site collections from SharePoint server.
    • Installs and activates the List component on each of these site collections.

To install the Microsoft Dynamics CRM List component

    1. Navigate to the folder where you downloaded CRM2011-SharePointList2013-ENU-amd64.exe, and double-click it.
    2. In the Open File - Security Warning dialog box, click Run.
    3. To accept the license agreement, click Yes.
    4. Select a folder to store the extracted files, and click OK.
      The following files are extracted:
    • AllowHtcExtn.ps1
    • crmlistcomponent.wsp

    The crmlistcomponent.wsp file is extracted.

    1. Open your browser.
    2. In the address bar, type the URL of the site collection on which you want to install the Microsoft Dynamics CRM List component, and press Enter.
    3. Go to SharePoint Online, under Web Designer Galleries, click Solutions.
    4. On the Solutions tab, in the New group, click Upload Solution.
    5. Click Browse, locate the crmlistcomponent.wsp file, and then click OK.
    6. On the Solutions tab, in the Commands group, click Activate.

    Configure CRM with SharePoint Server

    1. Open CRM 2011 Site > Settings
    2. Click on Document management > click Document      Management Settings
    3. Mark those entities where      you want to have Document management Option
    4. Enter the site collection URL in      the URL box
    5. CRM will validate if the sandbox solution      is present in that site collection and once it detects its presence will      it continue further
    6. Select Based on accounts or      Contacts
    7. Once done click next it will prompt to      create the document libraries in SharePoint, say Ok , and it finishes with      a charm

    Hi

Thanks for those links and info, but those didn't resolve my question.

The problem is that basically the crm and the sharepoint are on different domains and we must log in those using different credentials.

So how we make the connection between crm and sharepoint which are in different domains? And in this case both comes from differen service providers.
