Expiry dates in Credit memo

Hi Everyone,

I am using D365 application and I am wondering that if there is any expiry date for credit memo issued from D365 POS, or is there any parameter at the back office wherein we can set the expiry date for credit memos against their number.

Kindly suggest.

Yes, the standard ENV not support expiry date for credit memo issued from D365 POS

There is no such a field available Credit Memo table (RETAILCREDITVOUCHERTABLE)

We have achieve these requirement by adding a custom field in back-office tables for expiry date. These will populate with the expiry date with some predefined days(parameterized) during credit memo is creation. We can validate this expiry date before paying through the credit memo.

There is a field in gift card table ( RETAILGIFTCARDTABLE ) but that will be enabled only if UK globalization is turn on. Here also the same approach can be use to customize.
