Keep in mind that the solution seems to just be turning off tracking and putting it back on again.
I'd still recommend checking for updates and keeping your SQL Server current.

Looking into this, I've found a known issue with a fix documented in the below Microsoft KB.

I believe the issue is where you have change tracking enabled - and there may be updates to your version of SQL Server which should solve this.
Have a look at the article above, apply the updates applicable to you and try again.
