Microsoft Dynamics RMS (Archived)

Daily Sales and Stock Level (Quantity on Hand)

Posted on by 20

Running RMS 2.0.  One store.

Does anyone know the code to use to generate a report for a given date range that shows daily total of purchase/return item movement and ending quantity on hand for each sku?  (Quantity on Hand would of course include transfers, incoming, etc.)  Essentially want a daily history showing each items net sales qty and qty on hand.

    Hello Jaybean,

Unfortunately RMS does not keep track of a given quantity for every transaction.  As Steve mentioned, there is an item movement report which gives the amounts and times you have received or removed.

You are welcome to suggest the product change, however this does seem like a major change would be needed in order to keep a historical count of quantity for every (transaction/day/hour/minute/etc).

At this time, RMS keeps track of the last sold date as well as the current quantities on hand.

    Best regards,

    Shawn with MIcrosoft Retail Support.

There is a report in the library that would show what you are looking for - the only caution is that it only shows items that have had "movement" in your date range, if you are looking for something that shows your entire inventory with the movement - I'm still looking as well...
