Dear friends,

I exported a database backup from Busines Central cloud as described here by Mr.Stefano Demiliani,

Dynamics 365 Business Central: exporting a database backup from a SaaS tenant – Stefano Demiliani

Now, I have a new Tenant and want to restore the .bacpac file.

I'm looking for a guide to achieve the same.

Thanks so much in advance

    Hi,

In that case you need to contact Microsoft support to get it done.

    Try this one too.

    Thanks.

    Hi, Nitin Verma

    Thanks for your reply,

The main purpose is that I purchased two subscriptions I want to separate some data into two tenants, and I created a backup in the Old tenant I want to restore that backup to the new tenant.

It's like migrating the data between tenants, I used to utilize Conf. Pkgs for that, but I thought there is  a better & faster solution.

    Hi,

The database you have exported can be used in Outside SQL or local machine not in cloud,

    www.sqlshack.com/.../

if you want to restore backup from the cloud to the tenant Microsoft can provide you that facility to restore of each minute.

    docs.microsoft.com/.../tenant-admin-center-backup-restore

    Thanks.
