Can we make default selection to "Regarding" field instead "To" when we insert the Email Template in Email Body?

Hi Team,

Can we make default selection to "Regarding" field instead "To" when we insert the Email Template in Email Body? Currently the default selected field name is "To". We have all the Email templates created for Incident("Regarding") only. So, we want the ability to select/insert Incident template directly.

    did you find any solution for this looking for the same behavior, I guess we probably could manipulate this with JS.

    I would also like to do the same, had an unsupported script which chose "Regarding" and "clicked" the Select button automatically, but it stopped working now with new UI. There is a setting in System Settings -> Email -> Skip select record dialog, but it takes To field as default context for templates and I would like that to be regarding Case. Should be a setting to chose from default context record.

    This is a good point. It would definitely be more efficient if the default field for inserting email templates was 'Regarding' instead of 'To' when dealing with incident-related templates love tester
