Hello everyone, I am very happy to find this place.

My company currently is using NAV 2009 and my boss decided upgade NAV to 2015.

What I know is our company NAV 2009 is heavily customized in many area.

When my company bought NAV2015, one of the Microsoft staff was quickly look at the our company NAV 2009 and he told us start from scratch is may better than upgrade.

I set up a windows server and install NAV 2015.

I made a company using the development client.

What I want to achieve is

1. I want to successfully connect the Nav company database using clients.

2. I want to import the NAV 2009 data (which are not customized especially customers, contacts, items) without primary key change. Could I achieve this?

This is the first time Nav development.

I do not know what I have to do.

Any resources you would recommend I can go further?

I looked at server books but I could not find a book which explains from the scratch.

Best regards,

    Donam,

What i understand is you are trying to do a re-implementation on NAV 2015,  and to get started you want to import some data from 2009 into NAV 2015, for this you have to use Rapid Start Services. Below link has more information

    msdn.microsoft.com/.../hh179428%28v=nav.70%29.aspx

One other thing is to create a new company in 2015 you need to be in RTC client not in classic as 2009.

    Thanks
