Cant connect 2nd register to the database

Hi,

Reloaded register 1 with backup database and new load of store ops and SQL 12.  Cannot connect 2nd register to database on 1st register but 1st register works fine.  Critical situation since using shift 4 for credit cards and get error about not enough PCs on the network

    Have you already allowed connection through firewall and enabled remote connections in sql server config?

    Yes i did that but my sql server agent is not starting..
