User unable to see parts of the left navigation pane

I have a user who is unable to see some of the available options on the left navigation pane. When they open a record, the pane is not showing all the available options available though there are no security permissions related to the entity they are unable to see. Across the organisation, the pane is visible to everyone though some users would not not have the permissions to navigate into certain entities.

Hello Dan.

Please can you add more details here... you wrote the user cannot see all available options in the navigation. What can see another user? Are parts of the navigation missing or only single options like an entity?

Hi Karsten

I have attached a sample picture below of what all users would be able to see but this one particular user can not see the Marketing option and itsrelated items in the sub-grid

I hope this would suffice

Hi Dan,

You have no doubt tried this - but have you set the user security role and team to the same as someone who can see all the links?

one things that used to throw it in 2011 was if the user was in an extra team / security role that excluded some permissions - Is that the case

Have you checked the license from the user who cannot see all navigation items?

Have you checked the settings in the sitemap? Sometimes there are entered restrictions for navigation items.
