Are there great performance differences based on connection speed?

Hi,

I use Dynamics 365 on cloud and I aim to do heavy customizations and development on CRM systems.
I don't have a fast connection in my area (download speed is maximum 44 Mbps, but it is usually much slower; latency is 98 and upload speed may be less than 1 Mbps), and I'm evaluating the impact of this lack of bandwidth in terms of performance, in order to decide whether to move elsewhere.

I read that a minimum 50 Mbps is recommended, and in fact I noticed that page loading is often slow: I wonder whether it only depends on my network speed or is more likely symptomatic of the platform.

Is there some of you who have been working with a slow internet connection and then upgraded to a FTTH or to a FTTH connection? If yes, did you noticed a huge difference in terms of performance? And where (page loading, customization, etc...)?

I have the same question (0)
