Hi,
Whenever I've tried to add a legal entity restriction to a user's security role using the standard security administrator role I get the error Cannot edit a record in Security role (SecurityRole). Access Denied: You do not have sufficient authorization to modify data in the database. We can add a role, however by default it's applied globally, and Security Administrator can't then restrict this to the relevant legal entities. In our organisation we almost always grant roles to specific legal entities so this issue prevents me from reassigning some of our user administration tasks to users outside of our sysadmin group.
I always thought this was an odd gap in functionality or a bug as I've seen it at multiple clients, and something that would be fixed in future versions... but it's still an issue, it's not on issue search and online i can't see many people talking about this so thought I'd check with the community... am I missing something/is there something I can do to remedy it?
Thanks
