Lead Rating Pattern

Hi,

Does anyone know when the lead rating (warm, hot ,cold) changes?what's the basis for this?

    Hi Arci,

    This does not automatically change. You need to apply some custom logic if you want to have it changed automatically.

    For example, if a lead gets created, and you automatically have a workflow of a task to follow up with an email after a week, and a phone call after two weeks. You can set the rating to change from cold to warm after these activities are completed.

    This is all based on your internal sales processes, and the probability of closure.

    If you have a probability field on the form, you can change the values of the rating based on the values of probabilities. This of course has to be done using a workflow or plugin.
