Whenever I try to process debit cards on my Ingenico 6550, the unit never asks for a debit card. This has happened with a few of my units, I have two with this problem and two without, the problem occurred seemingly out of the blue and on different days (about two weeks apart).
When I slide the debit card through and go to the PIN screen on the RMS window, and the ingenico unit just hangs on a blank screen. Nothing on screen, no button feedback, nothing. I can still cancel the prompt and credit cards work 100% as expected.
My PoS reseller has gone out of business and cannot get assistance from them, any help would be appreciated.
