I'm getting "This Module isn't registered" error in Intercompany Processing but it is registered.

Posted on by 240

When I drill down on a trx that was coded to an Intercompany account, I get the error:  This module isn't registered.  However, when I go to Tools->Setup->System->Registration it is registered.

After searching other company Intercompany Trx,  we find the trx is going to the related company books but we can't tell from the originating trx which company was selected or to which it was coded.

Background info, we recently moved data to a new server, new sql instance and upgraded from GP 2013.

Anyone have any ideas?

HELP!!!

I assume you cannot even get to this screen?

Microsoft Dynamics GP menu >>>> Tools >>>> Setup >>>> System >>>> Intercompany

Is multi-currency enabled and setup in both companies?

Do you get the same negative results when you try to access multu-compnay on the server?

No, it's the standard Dynamics GP Intercompany and it was working fine before we moved it to the new server.  Now, the trx is created on the other company but no reference in the original trx about what company or account it was coded to.  The original trx just show the originating Co in the the company column and the Intercompany account.  Then when I click the drill down it says the module isn't registered.  As I said, under Options it's checked as Registered and when I go to Tools->Setup->System->Registration it is registered.

Are you using a third-party intercompany module like Nolan Intercompany?
