Dynamics 365 Trial version

HI,

I've tried a Dynamics 365 trial version in order to explore the sales experience.

Basic entities such as Contact, Accounts, and various activity entities are of course present. However, I'm quite surprised not to find the lead and opportunity entities included in this trial version.

Did i miss something ?

Is there a way to later add these missing entities to my trial Dynamics 365 environment and how would i do that ?

Thank you in advance

    Hi Francois_Ligouy ,

Which app have you selected when you've initiated the trial, was it the Dynamics 365 Sales from Start a Free Trial for Microsoft Dynamics 365| Microsoft Dynamics 365? In this case you should have access to the Sales Hub model-driven app. If you are using a different model-drive app you can click on its name, and you should have a popup with the available apps.

The default experience has leads, opportunities, quotes, orders, invoices, etc. If you created your own app, you need to use the editor to add the entities that you want to show.

Create or edit a model-driven app using the app designer in Power Apps - Power Apps | Microsoft Docs

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Pedro,

For whatever reason, it seems that i had not asked for a proper trial version. I now end up having another trial version, that is a true "Sales Trial version".

The first one i got was looking like below screenshot and didn't include Lead or Opportunity entities (i did venture into the admin mode and could not find these entities in the customization window; of course, the fact that they are not shown on the below menu could not be taken as a proof that they are not available in the environment)

The one i've just created is totally compliant to what i was expecting; it matches the environment shown on your screenshot and, of course, it includes leads and opportunities, as shown on the screenshot:

Thank you very much for the time you spent answering me. I can start my trial experience now.

    Have a nice day
