Can you please motion one more things how you are trying to verify 'a employee is linked to a position'?

1- going on all positions and unable to see employee with any position?

    2. going on all employees, selecting any employee and clicking on worker position assignment?

I am going to the position form and unable to see that position with any employee assigned to it and if I check against the employee that is also displaying no worker position assignment.

    thanks

you mentioned your issue yourself. you have to.

go to table HcmPositionWorkerAssignment and see Valid from and Valid to should be must

Hi, I have already loaded positions with dates in before i have now added both of these dates and getting this error- Valid from on both will be the same as it is the employees start date?!?

Results. Record ('E000235') . Cannot create a record in Employment (HcmEmployment). Invalid value specified for 'Employment end date'. It cannot be greater than or equal to the 'Employment end date' of the first record.

seems you are trying to recreate records, so its saying "ending date cannot be greater than or equal to first record"

you have to update existing records.

or first delete existing records and re-upload

i think it is because i need the following field HcmPositionWorkerAssignment).ValidFrom

that is not in the DMF for employees however which it should be i think in order to link the records as when you go into the position form their is Worker Assignment (worker, assignment start, assignment end) is this a different DMF load?
