Unified Interface unable to view attachments in received emails

Posted on by 160

Hope some one can advise.

We are moving over to the new unified interface so are currently bug fixing and checking everything is working fine.

I have noticed that any received email that have an attachment on them we are unable to open and view.

The preview button is missing and we only have delete available.

I have searched online to find a solution but unfortunately there is noting that advise how to fix this issues.

any help appreciated

Thanks

Vanessa

    Its Fixed !

By updating the system as you have advised Lu Hao it looks to have now fixed the issue and i can download all the documentation to the bottom of the screen.

Thank you so much you have been a great help.

    Hi Vanessa,

Only image types and PDF attachments can be previewed, and their file sizes are limited to a certain value beyond which they cannot be previewed.

In addition, we can only see the preview in the Email form, not in the Enhanced Email form & Email for Interactive experience form.

    Hi Lu Hao

    Thank you for recommending.

i checked the other forms previously and could not see anything  but having now updated as you suggested i can see the attachment on the Enhanced Email form & Email for Interactive experience form

Unfortunately i still can not see the preview and it is still asking me to download to view although it now gives me extra commands Export/download/delete.

    Hi Vanessa,

Please try to change the Email form to see if other form is normal.

Have you enabled the preview of 2020 release wave 2 for the D365 environment? If not I would recommend you enable it.

Thank you for your advise Bipin but unfortunately i don't think this is what i am after.

The article you have advised relates to new created emails and adding attachments but i am after received emails to a queued email address.

    Hi,

You should click on Attachment to see the preview. See below article.
