GP 2013 Email to Outlook

We have GP 2013 configured to Outlook and the email goes to the Outlook outbox and sends,  but doesn't go through -- instead the system admin sends back the email as undeliverable, saying:

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

This message could not be sent. Try sending the message again later, or contact your network administrator. The client operation failed. Error is [0x80070057-0x80070057-0x000501].

    If you are using 64-bit you need to use Exchange. However this sounds like the old issue we use to have on User Cache Exchange Mode.

    This issue will occur when the user does not have Use Cached Exchange Mode in Outlook 2010 turned on. To turn this on, take the following steps:

    1. Go to File > Account Settings.

    2. On the E-mail tab, select the Outlook account and click Change.

    3. Make sure the Use Cached Exchange Mode option is selected.

    Well, I'd say, if the message reaches the outbox, and it looks correct and it is from the correct sender to correct recipients, the GP's job is done. Could be something between Outlook and Exchange or whatever you are using in your organization. If it's Exchange, there are some tools you can troubleshoot mail flow problems.

    I was thinking, if the user has multiple accounts configured on Outlook, that could be an issue, I've seen it before, but you say it's not the case.

    Have you tried this on other machines?

    It's an email from the System Administrator and the subject line says it's Undeliverable.  In GP, we have Setup > Admin > System Preferences > Email Settings set to use a server type of MAPI instead of Exchange.

    This was a trial run so we tested once with the user's own email within the organization and got the message. Then we tried with an outside email and got the same return email.

    No just one account configured.  It's a local install of GP on the user's workstation.

    What is the exact message you are getting? Is it from the Exchange server? Are all of the recipients within your organization? Do you have more than one account configured on your Outlook?
