Connecting to Dynamics NAV OData feed URL from Flow

This is for an on premise Dynamics NAV 2018 server.  I am attempting to connect from Microsoft Flow.  OData is enabled, running without SSL on port 7048.  I can access the URL publicly and view the OData feed.  When attempting to add a Dynamics NAV connection in Flow, however, I am receiving the error:

The URL '(url)' is not a valid Microsoft Dynamics NAV OData feed URL.  The OData feed URL can be found on the 'Web Services' page in Microsoft Dynamics NAV.  clientRequestID: 7264c374-bbe8-48a0-9ae2-ab7cef40f066

Have you set Web Service Access Key?

    Hi Stefano,

Thank you for your response.  I was able to sort out the original issue, but following that post, I am still getting an error when creating a connection.  The error is "Incorrect username or password.  Type the correct username and password for Microsoft Dynamics NAV, and try again.  clientRequestId: a2d0d3cb-7789-418f-a3bb-3359acf48b85".  As suggested in the post, I used the user's Web Service Access Key in the Password field in place of the users regular password, but still received the same error.

In Flow are you using the correct credentials? Is this user in NAV? Is the OData port opened to the Firewall?

Try also to use the server IP instead of server name in the OData url with Flow.

Yes.  This is using Windows authentication and there is a NAV admin user linked to a windows user account.  I tried that account with both the user's password as well as the web service key and neither worked.  To be sure this isn't related to that account being linked to a Windows user, I created a standalone user in NAV and tried to use that user with both it's password and web service key, but got the same error (Incorrect username or password).

I also tried using the IP in place of the FQDN in the OData URL and got the original error I reported (not a valid Microsoft Dynamics OData feed URL).  When I make a request to the OData URL using the FQDN in my Web browser, I can see the OData feed, but if I substitute in the IP instead, I get an HTTP 400 (Bad Request - Invalid Hostname).

    Hi Guys,

Where you at all able to resolve this, i am stuck while trying to access NAV OData Feed inside of MS Flow.

Below is the error message i keep getting:

Please check your account info and/or permissions and try again. Details: The URL 'http://**/DynamicsNAV90/WS/****/Page/Client' is not a valid Microsoft Dynamics NAV OData feed URL. The OData feed URL can be found on the 'Web Services' page in Microsoft Dynamics NAV.

The error is self explanatory: the url you're using is not valid. You can check the correct OData url for your object in the Web Service page (URL OData field).

It should be in the following format:

    http://server:odataport/serverinstance/OData/Company('XXX')/MNContactCard

    Hey Steffano,

Many thanks for your reply. However i still keep getting the same error message even after making it a relevant ODATA feed.

Please check your account info and/or permissions and try again.

Details : The URL 'http://14.143.36.**:7048/DynamicsNAV90/OData/Company('***')/Client' is not a valid Microsoft Dynamics NAV OData feed URL. The OData feed URL can be found on the 'Web Services' page in Microsoft Dynamics NAV. clientRequestId: 7A94F418-B206-4F86-9C6B-E60C2B7BB90C

Do i need to have same user created in SharePoint as well as in Navision ?

    Thanks,

    Rahul

I think you're using a wrong url, as the error message suggests.

    What is /client ?

In NAV Web Service table, publish an object as web service and give it a Service Name you want. Then, in the OData URL field you have the url for calling this object.

Hi,  Client is the service name for object name - Customer card.

Object Type Object ID Object Name Service Name Published OData URL

Page 21 Customer Card Client Yes windows-2rj0rbs.demo.com/.../Company('**')/Client

Are you in a multi-tenant environment or not? If so, an OData URI has to include tenant name as a parameter then, e.g.  mynav.contoso.com/.../Company('MyCompany')/MyQuery?tenant=MyTenant. Every request must address proper tenant or else request will fail.

If not, can you reach the url like for example mynav.contoso.com/.../OData$metadata (for you I think it will be windows-2rj0rbs.demo.com/.../OData$metadata ) ?
