How can you setup Commerce in D365?

Hi everyone,

I am having hard time finding the way of setup Commerce solution, does anyone have the steps? I am located in Australia and support here is terrible unfortunately, no reply to the chatbot and forms.

I would of thought the setup is like the Marketing Module but it is not, I have also access to the Partner Portal but there is no clues of Commerce or e-Commerce in there.

Any help and guidance is welcome.

To set-up a Commerce with e-Commerce environment you'll need

Access to an implementation project in LCS and corresponding licenses for HQ & eCommerce (either customer or partner ones, depending on your role and use)

Deploy a Sandbox environment in LCS for the HQ / Backoffice components - details @ docs.microsoft.com/.../deployenvironment-newinfrastructure

Deploy a scale unit in your region from within the environment's page in LCS - Initialize Commerce Scale Unit (cloud) - Finance & Operations | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Docs

After the Scale Unit is ready, Initialize e-Commerce - Deploy a new e-commerce tenant - Commerce | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Docs

I found a way, it seems that the only way to setup a demo is through a gold partner on this URL

experience.dynamics.com/.../

You will need to be a MS partner and have your MPN ID and Tenant ID (TENANT ID, not other ID)

Then you will need to request licenses for:

- Dynamics 365 eCommerce and Cloud Scale Unit Partner Sandbox

- Dynamics 365 Tier 2 Sandbox Partner Sandbox Add on

MS will then contact you in the next 2-3 business days.

Thank you, Mando, yes, this is how to, right after the first step is done which is requesting the environment and licenses to be generated for use.
