Is it possible to integrate an external e-commerce with Dynamics marketing, and be able to identify when a user abandons their cart, when they leave, and other types of interactions on my external site?
And is it possible to use these interactions in the customer journey?

You can create custom triggers and place them as a code into your e-commerce website. These custom triggers can be then used in your journey. Please see this documentation for more info:
