Swapping Dynamics Sales Pro licenses for Customer Service Pro

HI all,

Probably a pretty basic question but one I can't seem to find the answer to.

We've customised a D365 Sales Instance (don't use the Sales Hub, or any of the sales entities other than Products, which I believe we could retain...) and provisioned a load of Sales Pro license for users....but now realised it probably makes more sense to have Customer Service licenses as we are doing another round of dev which requires something similar to what SLAs already do.

Is it possible to just wait for the monthly licenses to lapse, quickly buy Customer Service Pro, and switch all users over to that??

    Hi,

Are you worried about losing your data if switch the license?

You don’t need to wait the licenses to lapse, just add the new license and remove the old one.

Please refer to the following case which had similar question with you.
