Has anyone seen negative committed quantities? I've got this problem in a few of my stores. Because they see the "Available" quantity on the item screen, they get all confused. Anyone know how this could have occured? We do use layaways, but we don't use work orders. I am unaware of anything else affecting that committed quantity number.

Here is a quick example of how this can happen:
Put Item X on a Work Order (RMS sets Quantity Committed to 1).
Go in edit the item's properties, set Quantity Committed back to 0 manually.
Go back to POS and fulfill the work order. RMS will set Quantity Committed to -1.
My suggestion would be to use RMS security to ensure no one has access to modify Quantity Committed on the items and see if the problem continues.
