Hi All
I am getting 403 Forbidden error when I try to create a Derived test case from RSAT.
Note :
1. I have Basic + Test plans access level in Azure DevOps
2. I am able to successfully import and export test artefacts between Azure DevOps & RSAT
Only issue is when trying to create a derived test case within RSAT
Error:
Request to <Azure DevOps URL> failed: Azure DevOps request failed with error: 403 Forbidden: You are not authorized to access this API. Please contact your project administrator. Verify your settings and try again.
Anyone who has come across this issue or suggestions to overcome this?
Thanks
i am getting the same error when try to create derived test case from RSAT. Did you get any solution?
HI Hiroki - I dont use personal access token.. I use Azure Access token from the server.
Hence, that is why i am baffled as to why this is not working as i am able to establish connection and be able to retrieve test plans from DevOps to RSAT and similarly upload test artifacts (test execution results & parameter files) from RSAT to DevOps
Thanks
Thani
Hi Thani,
I saw 403 forbidden error when a personal access token doesn't have enough access.
Please see the following documentation and check if your token is set to "Full access"
docs.microsoft.com/.../hol-set-up-regression-suite-automation-tool
If the workaround doesn't resolve the issue, I would suggest that if you reach out to MS support for further information.
