Management Reporter - A User with this name already exists

When trying to create a new user in Management Reporter I am receiving an error that a user with that name already exists. I have checked SQL users as well as database users, and this user is not in there. I have also checked the User table in Managment Reporter and he doesn't exists their either. I have tried searching both google and on partnersource with no luck. Has anyone run in to this issue before? They are on MR 2012.

Hi Melissa,

Check the Name column SecurityPrincipal table for Management Reporter. Check to see if you have two of the same names like "John Smith". Also verify no user has a blank display name, like the domain adminsitrator account.
