    hi

Dynamics 365 Business Central can be integrated with other systems using various methods, depending on the specific requirements of your organization. Here are some common integration methods:

APIs: Business Central has a set of APIs that allow other systems to interact with it. These APIs can be used to perform tasks such as creating or updating records, retrieving data, and executing custom code. You can use these APIs to integrate Business Central with other systems.

File imports/exports: Business Central allows you to import and export data using various file formats such as CSV, Excel, and XML. You can use this functionality to integrate Business Central with other systems that can read and write to these file formats.

Custom integrations: If your organization has specific integration requirements that cannot be met using the above methods, you can create custom integrations. This involves developing custom code that connects Business Central with other systems, such as using middleware or custom connectors.

Third-party integrations: There are also third-party tools and applications available that can help you integrate Business Central with other systems. These tools provide pre-built integrations and connectors for popular systems and applications.

When integrating Business Central with other systems, it's important to consider factors such as data consistency, security, and scalability. You should also test your integration thoroughly before deploying it to ensure that it works as expected. Additionally, it's recommended to work with a Microsoft partner or consultant who has experience with Business Central integrations to ensure that you are following best practices and getting the most out of your integration.

It will all depend on what integration options the other systems you are using are offering.

And for a lot of the most common systemets there are already pre built integrations that are offered by 3.party vendors.

But the bes practice today is to use API based integrations where possible. But Business Central also supports file based integrartions.

Direct database integration is not an option when you are running BC online. If you are running BC On-prem it is technically possible to read BC data directly from the SQL database, but inserting directly into the BC SQL database is not recommended.
