Merge Contact with Sales Order and Opportunities

How can we merge sales order and opportunities of duplicated contacts?

Hi Partner,

1.When you merge contacts, opportunity records are merged with them:

2.In addition, we can enable duplicate detection rules for opportunity entities:

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/set-up-duplicate-detection-rules-keep-data-clean

When i merge the contact, the marketing interactions under timeline is not merged.

Perhaps because contacts and opportunities do not have a parent-child relationship, all child records are merged with the parent during the merge process.

If the contact already has a parent-child relationship with Opportunity and it still doesn't merge properly,

we recommend that you raise a support ticket to give Microsoft feedback on this issue:

What about insights and marketing interaction (i.e. email open/read)? Can it be merged?
