Using Miniforms with the Business Central App on Android

Posted on by
Good day everyone,

As the title says i want to setup an android device with barcode scanner functionality with business central using Miniforms.
For the android device, it's a Newland MT90 mobile terminal running android 11.

So far the dynamcis 365 environment was setup as sandbox, it was configurated like suggested by microsoft for ADCS use.
The warehouse location has the ADCS activated and is set as default location.
The User-ID is connected to a ADCS-user.
All the Miniforms are configurated correctly as far as i can tell, that means LOGIN has codeunit 7705 and is setup as starting point,
which leads to the MAINMENU (codeunit 7707) with all the bodies, headers and so on my client wants.

Now for the App side of things.
Is there a specific way to log in to the BC App? With the login via Cloud-Sandbox i only get to the default page view, like in the browser.
i didn't try the on-premise login so far. Would that be the way to go? enter the given web address to from the webservice in there and login with the ADCS login data?

Sorry, if that question was already answered or sounds dumb, but i am new to this topic and couldn't find a good documentation on how to setup an android device with BC and only using miniforms.

Cheers and thanks in advance for any help!
