Product description vs product name

Hi experts,

Does anyone know what's the difference between PRODUCTDESCRIPTION and PRODUCT NAME? Where can the description be seen in the functional forms?

    Hello,

    You can see the Description the name on the product form in Product information management module.

    Hi,

    After seeing the Product Description field on the entity - It comes from CustInvoiceTrans table.

    Navigate to the SalesOrder >> Action pane ta >> Invoice >> Under "Journals" group >> Click on Invoice button >> It will open invoice journal form >> Click on Invoice Id. Below the screenshot that shows Product description.

    Hi, To view from UI, Product Name and Product Description fields in Sales invoice lines V3 data entity, go to Sales orders-->Filter on Invoiced Sales order-->Invoice Tab-->Journals-->Click Invoice
