GP 2010 Upgrade "sa" user login issues

Hello,

I updated one of my customers to GP 2010 last week from GP 9. The upgrade went fine except when logging in (or changing companies) as the "sa" user there is a 3 to 4 minute delay. All other users logins work just fine.

I originally thought that the issue was related to their hardware but once the regular users could log in and not have any delay I was really confused.

Has anyone else seen this? I loaded GP 2010 with Service Pack 1 and the latest hot fix (Payroll Year End Update)

Hi David,

Have you used the Security conversion tools from GP to migrate from GP 9.x to GP 2010 ? Prior to GP 10, the security was using a different model, thus a quick way to get the users up and running was to use the conversion tool, but this generates a lot of entries in the security tables and makes the login process very slow (I've had users that were waiting up to 5-7 minutes before they could even see the main menu).
