I have an environment with Dynamics CRM local (not cloud!) and we like to install the "Dynamics for Outlook App" for the users. I know and read the TechNet article about deployment https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn946901.aspx
But there are some questions from the infrastructure department, I could not find an answer yet:
- In order to allow the installation of the add-in the policy settings have to be defined correctly. For that, the ProgID (programmatic identifier) of the app is needed. What is the correct ProgID for the Dynamics CRM for Outlook App?
- What local rights does the user need in order to install the AddIn, some local admin permissions?
