Business Portal Installation Issue

Hi,

 I installed Business Portal, and since then due to performance issues had to remove it and bring up a new server to run sharepoint, business portal and crm on.

My issue is as follows, After business portal installed successfully (pointing to the first server which is running Dynamics GP) there seem to be errors all over the pages. The first error, which I recieve on all pages is

" No company has been selected. Log into a company before continuing."

I get this error after adding  <customErrors mode="Off"/> to the bus portal web.config.

I have set up the users default company in business portal administration. Am I correct in assuming that Business portal can be installed anywhere as long as it points the the DYNAMICS database? I also dont have the drop down in the top right corner of the page where I can switch between companies. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

    Mike,

    Thanks for using the newsgroups.  The company containment control, the dropdown you referenced, is a necessary piece of Business Portal.  Something must have failed during installation.  I'd suggest a reinstallation (cleaning up as much as possible in BP and SharePoint) or talking to support.

     This error occurs on every user.

     

    Modules Installed:

    Electronic Doc Delivery
    HRM Self Service
         -Employee Profile, Time and Attendance
    KPI
    Order Management
    Project Time & Expense
    Requisiton Managment

    If you log into Business Portal as a user with administrator rights, does the error above occur?

    What modules in BP are you using?
