Cost Not Updated For Some Items

Hi,

I am facing issue with some items have already posted transactions and the quantity of it consumed but the cost not updated for specific days for example I created productions orders and these production orders posted but while I am checking the transaction of this item I found that the quantity consumed but the cost not updated as per the below screen shot:

Please clarify me what is the reason for this issue and how I can resolve it.

With Weighted Average, AX will issue the inventory at the current running average cost price. Since you have 'Include physical value' ticked, I can only think of two likely reasons that the running average cost price was zero:

The items were received on a purchase order where the price was zero.

The items were used in production before the purchase order product receipt was posted.

Is PBD-002 an item that you purchase?

The item model group for for PBD-002 is Weighted Average Date and 'Include physical value' already ticked.

On the item itself no price assigned and 'Latest cost price' not ticked.

On the Item model group for PBD-002, what is the Inventory model? Is 'Include physical value' ticked? If 'Include physical value' is not ticked, can we get the same screenshot filtered by Financial date = '5/1/2016'?

On the Item itself -> 'Manage costs' fast tab, is there a 'Price'? Is 'Latest cost price' ticked?

Please check the below thing the production order screen.

1.Price Calculation

a. Overview estimation

b. Overview Costing

c. Costing Sheet

2. Production Posting

3. Inventory Transactions

if cost of the finished good is reflected here it should be reflected in the inventory transactions also. if it is not reflecting please check you setup.

Dear Othman,

Please confirm that these production order has been ended or just report as finished. Cost is updated once production is end.
